To tell if you have a Vickers V10 or V20 series hydraulic pump, look for the stamped model code on the aluminum or iron body/cover boss. If the code strats with V10, then you have the smaller frame V10 frame if it starts with V20 then you have the larger frame.
If your tag is missing or painted over, you can differentiate them by capacity and physical scale:
Vickers V10: Smaller physical frame size designed for lower flow requirements (displacements roughly 0.3 to 1.3 cu in/rev; flow generally up to 7–11 GPM depending on speed). Maximum pressure typically up to 2,000 PSI.
Vickers V20: Larger physical body and heavier casting, offering higher displacement (roughly 1.4 to 2.4 cu in/rev; flow capabilities up to 11–13+ GPM). Maximum pressure ratings reach up to 2,500 PSI.
